Dorpamine Concept Was Created
The team collaborates on a concrete direction for the platform. At this point no name has been chosen for the platform.
The Name Dorpamine Was Chosen
After coming up with a rough concept of the direction platform the team decides on a name. Research is done and presented. With the concept of the word village (Dorp) and the motivation of the word dopamine the team decides to combine both words to make a new meaning.
August 2022
Dorpamine Logo Designed
The team decided not to work exclusively with one particular designer or company. The team hosted a design contest with over 30 designers submitting concepts for the logo. The team went to social media and let users weigh in. Our current logo was voted highest internally and among social media.
Dorpamine Rights and Domain is Acquired
The team acquires necessary rights and authority to its brand.
September 2022
Dorpamine Product Design Starts
The team begins building out the designs and concepts for the platform. Product and market research is also conducted.
October 2022
Dorpamine App Design Starts
The team begins design on the app and bringing the concepts to life.
December 2022
Initial Development Starts
The development team begins building out the infrastructure of Dorpamine.
February 2023
Initial Round of Funding
Dorpamine is awarded its initial round of outside funding.

The team launches the landing page in order to gain initial interest in the platform and create a focus group for our beta program.

Dorpamine releases a merchandise store to build awareness and provide physical products to connect with users. Dorpamine is officially becomes a goal and wellness brand.

We Reach Our First 200 Subscribers on Our Email List
We reached our first 200 subscribers for early adopters of the Dorpamine platform.
We reach our first 1.3k in revenue
The release of The Dorpamine Store contributed to first set of revenue streams for Dorpamine. The Dorpamine running shoe helps bring in 80% of sales for the revenue in April. Among the most popular is the "Dorpamine Lemonade" sneakers.
